Laura Gainor

Business Analyst, Blackridge Communications & Director, Voice ESEA

I attended the DMA’s Creative Data Academy in Edinburgh in 2019. The confidence I gained during the three days of the Academy helped me reach milestones like working for companies like Amazon, Rolls-Royce and Aviva, and becoming a Director of Voice ESEA at 23 years old.

The DMA helped me feel more competent in issues surrounding data protection. The practical skills I was given to tackle the brief and connections I formed have impacted my life beyond my time in Edinburgh, leaving me inspired and empowered as I entered my exciting career.
