When I applied for the Creative Data Academy, I had only just started to think about a career in data. I didn’t know much about how to get started or whether it was something that would be possible for me.

Attending the CDA helped me to understand what kind of jobs were available, what kind of projects I could be working on, and gave me the confidence to change my career path. It gave me the opportunity to meet and chat to a group of diverse people, both data professionals and other CDA attendees. It helped me to realise that everyone starts somewhere – we were a mix of people from different disciplines and experience levels, but with a common goal. I am now into my fifth year as a Data Scientist, and I love my job!
